SUMMER SURVIVOR

Summer Survivor is a day camp for children ages 8-11. The program began in 2005 as a way to involve children in positive alternative activities similar to our school based prevention education programming during the summer. It is also designed to increase factors that prevent substance abuse and other problem behaviors as well as to educate and provide experiences that promote social competencies and life skills.

This year's program will run July 21-24, at Gargoyle Park in Olean. We are pleased to report we are full for this year's session.

For more information on Summer Survivor, call DeeDee Bartz, Prevention Program Supervisor, at 716-373-5202 ext. 519.

A petting zoo was brought in for the children to enjoy and to give them an opportunity to experience several unusual animals.
